Feminist Bird Club: Seattle Chapter
An Inclusive Birding Club
That provides a safe opportunity to connect with the natural world while fundraising to protect the rights of BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ folks, and women.
We recognize that as we bird in the Seattle region, we are on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Coast Salish people, specifically the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present. We acknowledge the pivotal placement of these communities in this land's history, and the work they are still doing to honor their heritage.

2021 FEMINIST BIRD CLUB PATCH
Female Yellow Warbler
Our 2021 Patch, featuring a female Yellow warbler by Liz Wahid @lizart217 , is now available. This year’s proceeds will be donated to @nativewellness. The Native Wellness Institute’s mission is to promote wellness and healing within Native communities, using training and techniques rooted in Native culture. We believe that providing care to yourself and your community is more important now than ever, and we are thrilled to support this organization.
